Tour schedule:
Day 1: Arrive in Beijing
Our well-trained English-speaking tour guide & private car/van will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel, the rest of the day is free on your own.
Meal: None
Day 2: Tian'an men Square-Forbidden City-Temple of Heaven-Summer Palace
Hotel pick-up at 8:30 am, then take a full day tour to the Tiananmen Square–the largest city square in the world and the Forbidden City which used to be the living place of the emperors of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties in the morning. Enjoy Chinese lunch at a local restaurant. After having lunch, go on visit the Temple of Heaven where the emperors worshipped for the harvest and the Summer Palace-the greatest imperial garden in China. Be transferred back to the hotel afterward.

Day 3: Great Wall-Ding Tomb (underground palace)Â
Hotel pick-up at 8:30 am. Then drive to Beijing Great Wall which is located 50 miles away from the city. Hike on the wall for 1-2 hours or so; enjoy your lunch at Friendship restaurant. Move on to the Beijing Ming Tombs where 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) were buried in the afternoon. Visit Ding Tomb which is the only one of the Ming Dynasty Tombs to have been excavated. Transfer back to the hotel afterwards.

note: we'll take you to Great Wall at Mutianyu, coz it's considered as the most beautiful part of the walls in Beijing and not as touristy as in Badaling. Anyway, if you'd like to visit Badaling or Juyongguan, please let us know in your email or in the reservation form. We may substitute it with the same cost.Â
Day 4: Beijing-Chengde.
Hotel check-out at 8:00AM, drive to Chengde(4 hours drive, 170miles), check in the hotel(4-star hotel), Lunch. Visit the Imperial Summer Resort . In 1703, Qing emperor Kang Xi built a summer palace and gardens, calling his summer residence Bi'shu'shan'zhuang (fleeing-the-heat mountain hamlet). Under his grandson Qianlong it had grown to the size of Beijing's Forbidden City and Summer Palace combined. Qianlong built many pieces of minorities architectures, especially Tibetan constructions. Enjoy local dinner at 6:00 pm.

Day 5: Chengde-Beijing.
Hotel pick-up at 8:30AM, the Temple of Potaraka Doctrine (Putuozongsheng) and other two temples, Lunch, drive back to Beijing. Hotel check-in.

Day 6: Beijing-Tianjin-Beijing
Hotel pick-up at 8:30. Drive to Tianjin (2 hours drive, 90 miles away). After arriving in Tianjin, first visit the Jiefang Bridge(Liberation Bridge) -owning over 80 years' history over Haihe River. About 96.7-meter-long, 5.5-meter-high,19.5-meter-wide, the bridge deck can open automatically in the middle because of the gasoline engine generator. Then visit the Century Clock which is set in front of the old Jiefang Bridge, west of Tianjin Railway Station. Nearly 40-meter-high and 170-ton-weigh, the Century Clock means that Chinese Modern Industry began from Tianjin.
Drive more than twenty minutes to Zhou Enlai-Deng Yingchao Museum to know the whole life of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingchao. Visit it for no more than an hour.
Then transfer to Nanshi Food Street which is about 3.5kms away. Stroll around and have Tianjin specialties for lunch. The lunch time is 13:00 or so.
In the afternoon, visit the Ancient Culture Street-Jinmenguli. The culture street displays specialties of Tianjin and China.
Drive back to Beijing around 18:30.

Day 7: Beijing-Home/next destination.
Hotel check-out & pick-up based on your departure time, then be transferred to the airport/train station for your next destination. Lovely tour ends!

A.There're more than 3 million vehicles in Beijing, and it said that approximately 30,000 cars are sold out every month, so there's big rush hour in Beijing (7:30-9:30 in the morning, 16:30-18:30 in the afternoon).We will try our best to do the tour according to the timetable. But we can not guarantee if it happens to be great traffic jam. Our tour guide will note you of the delay in that case.Â
