  • There’re more than 1,000 tourist attractions in Beijing, but the Top Six are the most famous ones. They are: Tian’an Men Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, Great Wall as well as the Ming Tombs. Besides these six spots, there’re also many wonderful places worth a visit. Hutong tours (also known as rickshaw tours), Lama Temple, Beijing Zoo (Panda bear) etc. Generally speaking, people can visit 2 or 3 spots in one day.

  • Can I visit these sights by myself?

  • It is definitely ok. Many tour spots offer audio-guides to the tourists. But you'd better bring a Beijing map with you in case of getting lost.
Note: It's hard to get a taxi in many tour spots, because the traffic rules do not allow them to stop around the famous tour attractions, especially the areas around the Tian'an Men Square & Forbidden City. You need to walk a bit further to get one. Be careful with the illegal taxis, just ignore them. Please feel free to give us a call for help!

  • Can I purchase entrance fees by using credit cards?

  • No. Not at this time.

  • Street vendors: Can I purchase souvenirs from street vendors?

  • You can, but you'd better not! They're all illegal ones with no license. Some of them even give counterfeit or Russian currency to the visitors as change. Moreover, they never offer a receipt or take returns.

  • Street Vendors: Do street vendors act well?

  • It’s depends! The vendors around the Tian’an Men Square & Forbidden City are the worst, do not even make any eye contact with their products, otherwise, they will become aggressive. In some other tour spots, vendors behave OK.
